Coquitlam Real Estate, Port Moody Real Estate, Port Coquitlam Real Estate, BC Buyers Agent, Why should I use a Buyers Agent?
In this blog post at ArticleBiz.com, my Prudential Sterling colleague Don Mcfadyen asks, “If I were getting a divorce would I use the same lawyer as my spouse?”
What he’s getting at here is that both parties should have independent representation, and the same is true in a real estate transaction, which leads Don to ask, “Why Is BC Real Estate Agency so Important to Understand?”
In real estate “Agency” is representation, and the bottom line is that without it you will probably be disadvantaged.
For instance, if you were a Buyer and walked into a new home sales office without a REALTOR®, who is going to look after your best interests? It certainly isn’t going to be the nice sales person (who is on the builder’s payroll).
Don concludes, “If you want to increase your comfort zone, give strong consideration to having a Buyer’s Agent (a REALTOR®) represent you in your next Real Estate transaction, it could very well be one of your best buying decisions.”
As a Buyer it doesn’t cost you anything to have a REALTOR® represent you, whereas without one it could cost you plenty!
Good post Don with great advice.
